🌿 Bearing Fruit for Jesus — Growing in Grace This November

Union Lutheran Church’s November newsletter centers on the congregation’s stewardship journey, “Bearing Fruit for Jesus: His Grace and Power at Work within You.” Over three weeks, members will reflect on how to use their time, talents, and treasures for God’s glory, culminating on Harvest Sunday, November 23. Each week’s theme will be explored through sermons, studies, and prayerful commitment.

Beyond stewardship, the church calendar is full of faith-filled fellowship and service:

  • All Saints Sunday (Nov. 2) honors loved ones who have gone before us.

  • A one-day mission trip to Burnsville, NC (Nov. 1) offers hands-on outreach.

  • Mary & Martha Circle continues its Thanksgiving basket ministry for homebound members.

  • Community Meal Fundraiser (Nov. 12) and The Great Rake (Nov. 22) bring opportunities for service and connection.

  • Pastor Heidi Punt invites women to a Friday Book Bible Study beginning Nov. 14 at Juice Life, Salisbury.

As the month concludes, Christ the King Sunday (Nov. 23) marks the end of the church year and the beginning of Advent preparation. Members are encouraged to submit their Time & Talent surveys and join in gratitude for God’s blessings.

From heartfelt remembrance to joyful service, Union Lutheran Church continues to live out its mission:

“Christ Centered ~ Mission Driven ~ Traditionally Grounded ~ Congregationally Focused.”
